Job Title:  General Manager - Nipawin Minor Hockey Association
Location:  Nipawin, Saskatchewan
Reports To:  Board of Directors
Position Summary:  The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of the Nipawin Minor Hockey Association (NMHA). The GM ensures the effective management of hockey programs, financial stability, and adherence to policies and regulations.  The GM is paid a monthly honorarium as determined by the NMHA Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping and Record Keeping
2. Financial Management
3. Player Registration
4. Compliance with Hockey Saskatchewan
5. Ice Scheduling and Coordination
6. Coordinate 50/50 Fundraiser
7. Coordinate Pictures
8. Website and Social Media

 Qualifications:

• Strong background in hockey management and administration would be an asset.
• Bookkeeping experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Financial management experience would be an asset.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

 Time Commitment:

• Casual position with flexible hours.
• Ability to attend to urgent matters at any time.
• Attendance at meetings as required.
